These are my dreams
09.11.09
Really, I have only wanted to be an artist. It is pretty much the only thing that matters to me. I need you to need me. Please, tread lightly and if any of my music breaks your heart - tell somebody. Tell a friend, tell an enemy, share it with someone you love.

There are so many things to be thankful for right now. I don’t know what else to say, but I’m still at this game and I’m still here. I am not going away. The mystery is always right around the corner.

Hitting the Digital Weights
07.08.09
OK. So, we are boning up on our chops right now - in real time and within the digital universe that our other identities inhabit - with the full intention of making our fall trip to the studio outrageous. Right now, I’ve got a polychromatic chart in front of my showing all of the instruments and sounds that need to be recorded; and we’re working out a great schedule with our friend, Dave Chalfant, to make everything come out just right. I know that people who have come to a lot of our lived shows will not be surprised to hear this, but - our next batch of songs are much, much more rock influenced than our freshman effort, which were soaked in a bucket of country for about 25 years. These new songs are running wildly into the arms of my love for the music of my youth (still going btw), so I am super excited. As far as the final format of the release, I think we are going to do LPs with CD inserts and digital download rights as well as download cards (to be sold separately). If you buy it on vinyl you are going to get a free cd and a free set of digital tracks - i think it’s a good solution to the new world we are living in. oh yeah. i think we are going to illustrate a graphic novel on the inserts. you have to find the other people who bought it to make sense of it all, though.

Finally, the rain has ceased. New England has gone 12 hours without a rainstorm.
